OROFACIAL PAIN/ OROFACIAL PAIN

There are a series of non-somatic pains of neuropathic or neurovascular origin that have an unusual clinical presentation (burning mouth syndrome, atypical odontalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, etc.) and that do not respond to conventional treatments because they are often misdiagnosed. They require an exhaustive diagnosis to detect the origin of the pain, and often require multimodal and multidisciplinary treatments. These continuous pains can greatly affect the patient's life, leading to depression or anxiety, which makes the situation even worse.

These continuous pain can greatly affect the patient's life being depressed or anxious which worsens the situation.
